Suan Limited, trading as Suan Consulting, is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 08830874. Our registered office is 31c Hillfield Park, Muswell Hill, London N10 3QT.

2. Scope
This notice applies to personal information we receive when you contact us by email about our services, and to technical information processed when you visit the Suan Consulting website.
3. Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive:
- your email address and, if you provide them, your name and organisation;
- the content of your enquiry;
- anything else you choose to tell us.
Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Our website host may also process technical information, such as IP address, browser type and request details, in server and security logs.
4. Why we use your information, and our lawful basis

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to any marketing or mailing list. We do not sell personal information.
5. Whether you have to give us information
You do not have to contact us. If you do, we need your email address and the details of your enquiry to be able to reply. Without them, we cannot respond.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only where needed, with:
- service providers that support our website, email and IT systems, who process information on our behalf;
- professional advisers such as accountants, lawyers and insurers, where relevant;
- regulators, courts or other authorities, where the law requires it.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we take steps so that the information is protected to the standard UK data protection law requires, for example by relying on UK adequacy regulations or approved transfer safeguards.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this notice. We consider whether an enquiry led to an assignment, how long a business relationship continues, any contractual, legal, tax or accounting requirements, and the time within which a claim could be made. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures that are appropriate to the information we hold. No online system is completely secure, so please take care when deciding what to send us.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may have the right to access your personal information; to have it corrected or erased; to restrict or object to our use of it; and to receive it in a portable format. Some rights apply only in particular circumstances. To exercise a right, email suan@suanconsulting.co.uk. You can also ask us to stop using your details for any purpose based on legitimate interests.
11. Automated decision-making
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
12. Cookies, browser storage and external services
We do not use analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking tools on this website. Suan Consulting does not use localStorage or sessionStorage. The site’s own code does not set cookies, and its light or dark appearance follows your device setting without being stored by us.
The site does not load fonts, scripts, maps or videos from third parties, and does not contact Google Fonts when a page loads. Links to LinkedIn and our email address are ordinary links; the privacy practices of any site you visit through them are their own. Our hosting provider may use technical measures needed to deliver and secure the site. We will update this notice before adding any tool that stores or reads information on your device.
13. Children
Our services are aimed at organisations and professionals. This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If you have a concern, we would welcome the opportunity to address it first, so please contact us at suan@suanconsulting.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
