Equipped with some 12 years’ technical and managerial experience in the water and wastewater industry (1998 to 2010), as well as 15 years of yoga practice, including three years as a teacher (2010 to 2013), Suan Ho-Dinh created Suan Ltd in 2013. His aim was to provide consultancy services that combined both of these passions in a holistic approach to engineering project delivery. He has since provided technical and managerial assistance for complex projects (design and build) in fields such as wastewater treatment and energy from waste plants.

Delivering Success
During more than 20 years of cumulated experience, and in the context of a wide variety of projects, Suan has developed a keen sense of the principal factors behind successful projects, namely:
- good governance and project management with a focus on excellent communication
- a sense of purpose and ownership of the project by all stakeholders and the project team
- trust and good relationships between all parties
- full integration of every function of every system, with a particular focus on interfaces
- robust monitoring and control of risks and opportunities at all stages of the project
He therefore recognises that it is of prime importance that technical, human, documentation and financial resources are all adapted accurately and intelligently to each stage of the project, to ensure that the aims and objectives at each stage are achieved in the best way possible.

Our Approach
Today’s workforce has become increasingly specialised, which in turn increases the risk of miscommunication between specialisms. We counter this risk by continuously encouraging team members and stakeholders of all the projects we work on to develop a shared sense of purpose. This approach helps everyone involved to:
- maintain an overview of the project’s goals while paying attention to the details they are responsible for
- adopt a clear set of positive attitudes, such as willingness to learn and multitasking
- maintain good health and wellbeing
- approach others with an open mind and develop a culture of knowledge sharing
We put human experience at the heart of the success of your project by providing the opportunity for each team member to learn – whether new technical skills and knowledge or simply human experiences – which we consider to be an integral part of the added value of a project.
